The authors regret that ‘Eucinetes' Germar, 1818 was mispelt and should be Eucinetus. This error occurred in the abstract, figure 23 and 24 captions, on page 46 (four times) and in the Vit (1985) reference.

In addition, two species were cited on page 42 without denoting the authors in brackets. These should be Contacyphon doctus (Lea, 1910) and Contacyphon genalis (Sharp, 1878).

The authors apologise for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to readers.
