Summary

In this chapter, I narrate my experiences of working as a volunteer in my home country of Zimbabwe. I explore the differing challenges and motivations of those of us who have left their homeland to work in the global north and return to volunteer. I finish off by offering 13 tips for volunteering in the continent of Africa.
