Summary

We are fortunate to live in a digital age where technological innovation is progressing faster than ever before. The use of internet-based technology in healthcare and medical education has been forced to evolve at a rate never seen before, as a result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Healthcare services are embracing these advancing technologies as they have become increasingly user-acceptable and readily available. These factors, alongside their potential to deliver cost savings, have resulted in the growth of tele-psychiatry and the delivery of clinical care using technology.
