Summary
Interviewee: My name is Ranjit Baruah. I am now seventy-six and I’ve been retired for twenty-one years. I had to retire early on grounds of ill health but I’m still here. I have agreed to contribute to this project basically because there are so many things that I could talk about arising out of my working life both in this country and also back in India where I was born and brought up. I’ve been in the UK since 1975.
