Vilius Dranseika is a philosopher and cognitive scientist based in Vilnius, Lithuania. He currently holds positions at the Department of Philosophy and Bioethics, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Krakow, and Institute of Philosophy, Vilnius University. His recent research includes work on cross-cultural moral psychology, research ethics, and lay theories of personal identity.

Kenneth W. Goodman, Ph.D., is founder and director of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy and co-director of the University’s Ethics Programs. He is also Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami with appointments in the Departments of Philosophy, Health Informatics, and Public Health Technology, Miami, Florida.

Thomas Foreman M.P.I.A., M.A., D.H.C.E., holds a Doctor of Health Care Ethics Degree from Duquesne University and Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Toronto, Joint Centre for Bioethics. He is a Clinical and Organizational Ethics Consultant, Member of the Joint Centre for Bioethics and currently the Executive Director of MAIDHouse, Toronto, Canada.

Patrick Heavey, Ph.D., formerly in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), is currently in business in Dublin, Ireland

Matti Häyry, Ph.D., is Professor of Philosophy at Aalto University School of Business in Helsinki, Finland. He is currently studying the nature of bioethics; the ethical issues of synthetic biology; and justice and its alternatives in a globalizing world.

Ainslie Heasman, Ph.D., C.Psych., holds a Ph.D. in Clinical & Forensic Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She is employed at the Sexual Behaviours Clinic at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health and in private practice at CFIR in Toronto, Canada.

D. Micah Hester, Ph.D., is Chair of the Department of Medical Humanities and Bioethics and Professor of Medical Humanities and Pediatrics at University of Arkansas for Medical Science (UAMS, as well as clinical ethicist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), Little Rock, Arkansas.

Thomas Huddle, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Jan Piasecki is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Bioethics, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Krakow. He holds a doctorate degree in philosophy and Erasmus Mundus Master of Bioethics. He teaches bioethics, medical ethics, and research ethics. His research interests include: research ethics and public health ethics.

Karoliina Snell, Doc.Soc.Sc., Adjunct Professor in Sociology, is a Research Fellow at Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies at University of Helsinki, Finland. Her current projects are “Moral (de)contextualization of health data use and “Good(s) for Health.”

Daniel P. Sulmasy, M.D., Ph.D., M.A.C.P., is the André Hellegers Professor of Biomedical Ethics in the Departments of Medicine and Philosophy at Georgetown University, where he is a Senior Research Scholar in the Kennedy Institute of Ethics and the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics, Washington, DC.

Alissa Hurwitz Swota, Ph.D., is the Bioethicist for Wolfson Children’s Hospital/Baptist Health system in Jacksonville, Florida and has an appointment (courtesy) at the University of Florida (Department of Pediatrics).

Tuija Takala, Ph.D., is Research Director at Aalto University and Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki, Finland.

S. Joshua Thomas, Ph.D., M.T.S., is Associate Professor of Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, St. John’s University, Queens, New York.
