The literature on pensions and retirement incomes is vast, and the bibliographies of the articles in this themed section provide a good starting place for readers to expand their knowledge. In addition, it is worth highlighting a number of websites that provide material on pensions and retirement incomes.
‘Rethinking Retirement’ resources
This themed section has its origins in the Economic and Social Research Council Seminar Series ‘Rethinking Retirement’, where a number of the papers were originally presented. The website contains presentation slides, and films for each of the topics covered: the changing context of retirement; retirement incomes; employment; active ageing; and the future of retirement. Authors in this themed section are included amongst the interviewees in the films, along with Baroness Drake, one of the members of the Pensions Commission.
