Politics & Gender is pleased to present our special virtual series on gender, politics, and the coronavirus pandemic. These short papers were evaluated for rapid publication on the basis of: (1) the rigor and clarity of the research, (2) the potential for the manuscript to make an immediate contribution to academic knowledge, public discussion, and/or policy-making, and (3) the extent to which the manuscript illuminates the gendered dimensions of political and/or policy responses or impact.
