The code and data necessary to replicate the results of the article Who Gets the Credit? Legislative Responsiveness and Evaluations of Members, Parties and the US Congress by Butler, Karpowitz and Pope (Reference Butler, Karpowitz and Pope2017) were first deposited in Dataverse, an open data repository, in November 2015, ahead of the publication of the article.

In December 2017, after the inclusion of the article in an issue of the journal, replication code was also published in Code Ocean, a computational reproducibility platform. This enables readers to run the code and view the outputs without installing software.

The author footnote been updated to contain the DOIs linking to the Dataverse and Code Ocean deposits. The results section of the HTML article has also been updated to incorporate a Code Ocean widget, enabling readers to run the code without leaving the article.
