Nineteen lichens new to sub-Antarctic Heard Island are recorded. Three species are described as new: Gyalideopsis heardense Øvstedal, Mycobilimbia subbyssoidea Øvstedal and Psoroma absconditum Øvstedal. Altogether the total number of lichen species recorded on the island is now 90.
