Introduction
This Special Issue of JPP, edited by Francesco Califano and Thierry Passot, is entitled Present achievements and new frontiers in Space Plasmas, and aims to convey recent achievements and progress in Space Plasma Physics.
Special issue editors:
Francesco Califano
Thierry Passot
The issue is open to any contribution based on the most recent achievements and progress in Space Plasma Physics. We invite you to submit a paper within one of the following main themes:
- Basic models and fundamental processes in space plasmas
- Simulation of space plasmas: from fluid to kinetic models
- Fundamental plasma processes in space weather
- Recent achievements of space missions and future projects
Papers may be regular research papers or in the style of a review. We also particularly encourage papers proposing new concepts for future space missions, as they will be fundamental in making further progress in this field.

Indexing and arxiv
All articles published in JPP are included in all major indexes, including ADS, ISI, and Scopus. Furthermore, JPP works with arxiv to ensure that any preprints posted on the arxiv are automatically linked to the final version of record when published in JPP. We encourage all JPP authors to post their preprints on the arxiv.
