The Chairman of the Sea Safety Group has most kindly agreed to the publication of this definitive paper on the hazards to be encountered by mariners when transiting the Dover Strait. The paper brings together the deliberations of the SSG Navigation Panel and the best information available to them sent from all quarters of the sharp end of the marine industry to produce a paper which provides a centre for discussion on this difficult and controversial issue. The Sea Safety Group retains the copyright.
