1. As a sign of how much feminist viewpoints about pornography have changed, consider the case of the Emmas, the first-ever Feminist Porn Awards held in May 2006 in Toronto. Hosted and organized by Good for Her, a Toronto women's sex store, the evening began with a roundtable discussion called “Vixens + Visionaries: Female Erotic Directors Revolutionizing Porn,” in which the directors of the films up for award talked about what counts as feminist porn. For information about press coverage of this event, and for the contest's criteria for inclusion, see http://www.goodforher.com/press.html.
