1 To form a clear idea of the extent and arrangement of ancient Corinth is difficult, since there is no good plan available. It would be most helpful if the editors of the Corinth series could publish—even separately or irrelevantly—the large-scale contoured survey of the city area.

2 Nor is it clear what Mrs. Stillwell means by her general term ‘Geometric Protocorinthian’.
