Summary
In the previous chapter, you learnt how gambling affects our thinking and how to be more alert to gambling-permissive thoughts and your thinking falling into mental traps. In this chapter you will first learn to re-evaluate these thoughts and replace them with thinking more likely to sustain change in the long term. Second, you will be introduced to three coping strategies to enable you to think your way out of situations when you are at risk of gambling.
